Step 1
Go to EPFO Homepage and click on ‘For Employee’ present down in the page.

On clicking on ‘For Employee’ link you will be redirected to a new page where you can see a list of options.

In the list, find the link saying UAN Helpdesk and click on it.
Step 4
On clicking it, it will redirect to another page where you need to click on Member section to register as a member.

On clicking it, you will again be redirected to the portal where you have to update or correct EPF UAN details online.
You need to selection problem type by clicking in the box. The list of problems provided includes:
- To know the UAN in case you forget it
- To know password and mobile number if changed
- Incorrect details like name, father name, date of birth, Date of joining etc.

On successful filling of details, you have to generate OTP which will be sent to your mobile number.
Step 8
Now, enter the OTP in the Enter OTP box to verify it.

This will ultimately generate a reference ID for the request you generated. This ID will be useful for your future reference.

You will need to submit the request to your employer along with some necessary documents.

The employer after receiving the request and necessary docs will contact the concerned EPFO field office for update or change.
