UAN Helpdesk | UAN HelplineToll Free Number | EPF Complaint Registration: Employees Provident Fund (EPF) members face varieties of problems that include not knowing their own UAN number, having two UAN numbers, getting an error with their name, failing to get the EPF passbook and the list goes on.  There are innumerable problems and every member who faces these common problems ultimately looks for a way to solve the matter.   The best to address all the aforementioned issues that most of the EPF members face is through toll-free helpline numbers and helpdesks of EPFO.  Yes!  You can get rid of the problems you are facing while dealing with EPF through helpdesk and helpline numbers provided by EPFO.

UAN HelplineToll Free Number / EPF Customer Care

EPFO maintains its own helpline center for its customers.  The customer care executives who are appointed to take care of the customer reported issues will stay on duty in all possible hours to assist the customers.  There are over 25 customer care executives to assist the customers.  These executives will help the EPF member over the phone.  EPF member can call the helpline number provided by EPFO to get the assistance from customer care executives.  The EPF toll-free helpline number to connect with the executive is 1800118005. EPF members who have complaints or issues to report can call the helpline number from 09:15 AM to 05:45 PM on all seven days. The helpline number won’t be answered on official holidays.

UAN-Helpdesk

EPF member needs to provide details like name, mobile number, and EPF number/UAN number to the helpline executive.  Below are the cases when you can get assistance from executives through helpline number.

  • Find out UAN number
  • Reporting of more than one UAN
  • UAN Passbook unavailability
  • Mobile number change
  • Any technical issue
  • KYC Upload
  • UAN portal related problems

Other than the toll-free helpline number, EPFO also offers UAN Helpdesk to address the queries of EPF members.  We have given below the URL of the helpdesk.

EPF members who are having problems with UAN can call the UAN helpdesk to report them and to get assistance.  The issue of the member will be solved within one week to three months time.  In order to report your query to the helpdesk, you need to go to the above-mentioned URL and enter your name, mobile number and EPF details.  The user needs to fill in the application along with the issue.

  • Personal Details Rectification
  • UAN Passbook problem
  • SMS not received during UAN activation
  • Details not matching when you join a new job
  • The employer is not approving the KYC document uploaded by the employee.

How To File Grievance

EPF member can also use the grievance redressal system of EPFO to address the problem.

File Grievance Online

EPFO offers a separate page to address grievance of the EPF members.  The URL is epfigms.gov.in.  The user can register their grievance through this page.  On registering the complaint, you will receive a registration number.  The user can also check the complaint status using the registration number.

By Post/email

You can also send grievance by post or email to the respective office of EPFO or Head office.

Direct Visit

EPF member can also personally visit the PRO in the Facilitation Centre of any office of the EPFO.  The member will get the below-mentioned services at facilitation centers.

  • Information about schemes and procedures through brochures, booklets etc.
  • Status of your claim or complaint
  • Acknowledgments on claims/ complaints submitted
  • The grievance registered in EPFiGMS on the spot by the PRO
  • Feedback of action taken so far on any of the complaints from the PRO.

Bahvishya Nidhi Adalat

EPF members can also solve their problems by filing their complaints with Adalats that are conducted with EPF offices.  Every week, the sessions of “Bhavishya Nidhi Adalat” are held on 10th if 10th happens to be a holiday the session will be held on the next working day.
